On-video captions are not the post caption
TikTok uses the word caption for both text inside the video and the description attached to the post. A video caption generator handles the first: speech recognition, timestamps, styling and render. It does not invent a generic sentence to place under the post.
That distinction matters for search intent and for production. On-video words help someone understand the clip; post text supplies context, keywords and a reason to respond.
